Examination Pattern and Scheme for LIC AAO Recruitment 2025
- Preliminary Exam (Phase-I): Qualifying only, marks not counted in final merit. Candidates must clear each section & overall cutoff (decided by LIC). About 20 times the vacancies will be shortlisted.
- Main Exam (Phase-II): Marks counted for merit. Must clear sectional & overall cutoff (decided by LIC). About 3 times the vacancies will be shortlisted for interview.
- Descriptive English Test in the Main Exam is qualifying only. Marks obtained in this test will not be counted for final ranking.
- Interview: Candidates must score minimum qualifying marks (as fixed by LIC) to be included in the final merit list.
- Maximum marks for Interview 60.
- UR / EWS / OBC: Qualifying marks – 30
- SC / ST / PwBD: Qualifying marks – 27
