Preliminary Examination :-
General Studies Paper I: This paper usually covers a wide range of topics including History, Geography, Indian Polity, Economy, Science and Technology, Environment, Current Affairs, and other relevant subjects. Questions are designed to test the candidate’s knowledge and understanding of various aspects of the Indian society, culture, governance, and current events. Emphasis is placed on conceptual clarity, factual knowledge, and analytical ability.
General Studies Paper II (CSAT): This paper primarily assesses the candidate’s aptitude and reasoning ability. Topics typically include Comprehension, Interpersonal Skills including Communication Skills, Logical Reasoning and Analytical Ability, Decision Making and Problem Solving, General Mental Ability, Basic Numeracy, and Data Interpretation.
