Airport Authority of India has released the notification of AAI Junior Executive Recruitment 2024 through GATE 2024 vide Advt No. 02/2024/HQ for the Posts of Junior Executive in Architect, Civil Electrical, Electronics, and Information technology for total of 490 Posts.
Airports Authority of India (AAI), a Government of India Public Sector Enterprise, constituted by an Act of Parliament, is entrusted with the responsibility of creating, upgrading, maintaining and managing civil aviation infrastructure both on earth and into the air space in the country. AAI has been conferred upon with the Mini Ratna Category ‐ I Status.
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering GATE is an All-India test authorized and managed in eight regions across the country. The exam is conducted by the GATE Committee, comprising faculty members from IISc and seven other IITs on behalf of the Ministry of Human Resources Development, National Coordinating Board and Department of Education. The purpose of the GATE exam is to test students’ knowledge in subjects like Engineering and Science.
The GATE scorecard is also used by multiple PSUs (Public Sector Undertakings) to recruit applicants for distinguished jobs at Indian Oil, GAIL and Hindustan Petroleum, Airport Authority of India etc.

Mode of Selection : AAI Junior Executive Recruitment 2024
- Only those candidates, who appeared in GATE‐2024 in the relevant disciplines with respective engineering degree/MCA and have registered their applications on the portal of AAI and also eligible in all respects shall be considered for further selection process in AAI.
- On the basis of the details furnished in application form, candidates shall be shortlisted for Application Verification as applicable for the post.
- On finalization of Application Verification, the provisional selection will be made as per merit list
prepared on the basis of GATE Score obtained by the candidates appeared for Application Verification and subject to meeting all other eligibility criteria prescribed for the post.

- Candidates must pass the GATE 2024 exam to be eligible for this recruitment.
Pay & Allowances
PAY SCALE (IDA) : Junior Executive [Group‐B: E‐1 level] : Rs.40000‐3%‐140000
In addition to Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance, increment @ 3% of Basic Pay per annum, Perks @ 35%
of Basic Pay, HRA and other benefits which include CPF, Gratuity, Social Security Schemes, Medical
Benefits, etc., are admissible as per AAI rules. The Cost to Company per annum would be around Rs. 13 lakhs approximately.
