Selection Procedure
- Preliminary Merit List
- For ITI trades provisional merit list will be prepared on the basis of their aggregate Percentage of marks obtained in ITI in ITI trades.
- For non-ITI trades provisional merit list will be prepared on the basis of their aggregate percentage of marks obtained in 8th (for Rigger trade) and 10th (for Forger and Heat Treater trade) respectively.
- Written Examination : Short listed candidates in the Preliminary Merit List will be issued E – admit card for appearing in written examination.
- Interview : Interview for the shortlisted candidates in Provisional List will be held at Mumbai.
- Oral Test : Successful candidates in document verification will be tested with technical skills in their respective trade.
Examination Scheme
- Examination examination will be OMR based and will comprise MCQs.
- There will be no negative marking answers.
- The examination will consist of 100 Questions.

Period of Training : Naval Dockyard Apprenticeship 2024
- They will undergo apprenticeship training for a period of 01 years for each trade except rigger and forger & Heat Treater.
- For rigger and forger & Heat Treater apprenticeship training for a period of 02 years.
